The Qualstar Qi Desktop LTO SAS keeps your data alive and well by providing reliable, high capacity storage for backup, recovery and archiving applications. Designed specifically for small businesses and workgroups, the Qi drive is compact enough to transport from place to place and offers a very attractive price point.

Data can be securely managed and distributed by removing the cartridge from the drive to ensure absolute security from cyber threats. From hassle-free operation to effortless maintenance, the Qi is designed to make life simple. However, should a problem arise, the Qi is backed by Qualstar's three-year extended parts warranty and expert customer support team. Depending on capacity requirements, the Qi can be supplied as an LTO-7, LTO-8 or LTO-9 variant.

Qualstar Q8 1U LTO Tape Autoloader, 8 Slots, one LTO drive

Hundreds of Terabytes in 1U Height - The Q8 LTO Autoloader is designed with reliability and the customer experience in mind, offering simple installation and easy maintenance. Its 1U high enclosure is rackmountable and offers capacities up to 144/360 terabytes (native/compressed).

The unit’s built-in menu-driven operator control panel is intuitively laid out and easy to use. The same functionality is also available via the integrated browser-based Remote Management Interface (RMI), which enables IT administrators to remotely configure, manage, and diagnose the library from anywhere in the world. All field-replaceable components—such as the tape drive, power supply, and controller board—are removable with standard tools.

Feature-rich and compact in a rackmountable 2U enclosure, the Q24 offers capacities up to 432/1080 terabytes (native/compressed).

High-Performance, Scalable Tape Backup - The Qualstar Q40 Mid-Range & Enterprise LTO tape library is designed for simplicity and reliability, providing superior performance and scalability for expanding data storage and long-term archiving requirements.

The Q40 system offers capacity scaling from 40 to 640 cartridge slots, and throughput scaling from one to 48 tape drives. The Q40 utilizes LTO-7, LTO-8, or LTO-9 tape drives, with each 3U high Q40 library module delivering up to 720/1800 terabytes (native/compressed) of storage capacity. The Q40 base unit may be expanded with up to 15 additional modules, creating a single library system with as much as 28.8 petabytes (compressed) storage capacity in a single 48U rack.

The Q40 uses a single robot to service all drives and media, maximizing cost effectiveness.

Qualstar Q80 6U LTO Tape Library, 80 slots, up to six LTO drives

Modular System Expands from 2.4 TB to 25.2 PB - The Qualstar Q80 Enterprise tape library is designed for simplicity and reliability, providing superior performance and scalability for expanding data storage and long-term archiving requirements.

The Q80 system offers capacity scaling from 80 to 560 cartridge slots and throughput scaling from 1 to 42 tape drives. The Q80 utilizes LTO-7, LTO-8, or LTO-9 tape drives, with each 6U high Q80 library module capable of delivering up to 1.44/3.6 PB (native/compressed). The Q80 base unit may be connected to up to six additional expansion modules, creating a single library system that can store up to 25.2 PB (compressed) in a single 42U rack.

The Q80 uses a single robot to service all drives and media, maximizing cost effectiveness.
